Mr. Victor Onoja was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CENIT Energy in March 2020 after acting in this role for 2 years. Victor joined CENIT Energy in 2012 as Technical Director, having previously managed the construction of the CENIT Plant.
Victor is an engineer with experience in power plant construction and management. He has worked in various operational, commercial and management roles with Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCO III), GTG Energy and Mechano SPM.
Victor also worked on the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) and the privatization process of all government-owned power plants in Nigeria as a consultant. These projects were geared towards the provision of sustainable energy for Nigeria and other West African countries.
Victor is a Charted Engineer and Six Sigma professional. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic.

I am a buoyant finance professional with varied experiences spanning over 18years in Finance and Accounting. Prior to my current position, I was the Financial Accountant of CENIT joining from March 2013.
I joined CENIT from Ghantrex Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Aviance Ghana Limited. As the Admin/Finance Manager and as a solution thinker, I was the team lead in setting up the Admin and Finance Department since Ghantrex was the local clearing wing of the parent Aviance Ghana.
Ghantrex Ghana has a complex set of responsibilities forming part of the fabric of the airport assisting airline customers to fulfill their promises to the passengers and handling and delivery of cargo which enriched her knowledge and skill in cargo handling, freight forwarding and logistics.

EDUCATION
George is a power plant engineer with over 25 years’ experience in power plant management, operations and maintenance.
Since 2001 George worked for the Taqa Generating International Operating Company (previously the CMS International Operating Company) becoming operations and technical Manager and, subsequently the first Ghanaian Plant General Manager for the Takoradi International Company (TICo) Project in Western Region, Ghana.
George has also worked on some of Ghana’s challenging power infrastructural projects, he was the Project Development Manager for the 1300Mw LNG thermal power plant at Prampram. He has extensive practical and operational knowledge of generation’s assets and Ghanaian electrical transmission system. George has been selected to act as Plant Manager on the GTS Engineering Limited.
In 2022 CENIT Energy Limited ended their O&M Contract with GTS Engineering Services where George was a Plant Manager, and he was engrossed into CENIT Energy Limited as Plant Manager. He has previously served as Consultant for CENIT Energy Limited as Technical Advisor in the area of LTSA, O&M, SSA, ICA and PPA contracts during the Power Plant Construction.
From 1998 to 1999 George worked as the senior site supervisor for ERGGS Consortium on the national rural electrification projects in Brong Ahafo. From 1997 to 1999 George was employed by ABB Ghana Limited as supervising engineer for Electricity Company of Ghana projects in the Western Region and from 1994 to 1996 worked as intensive program with ECG. George was also a team leader for Volta River Authority where he worked on an energy conservation campaign in 1993 to 1994.
George holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Finance and Accounting from University of Liverpool and BSc in electrical engineering from Richmond’s University.
Kate Agyeman Prempeh is a Human Resource Practitioner by profession. She is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD – UK) and also a member of the Institute of Human Resource Practitioners Ghana (IHRMP). She holds a master’s degree in human resource management from University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from Central University College.
Kate is the Human Resource Manager at CENIT Energy Limited and has been with the company since March 2013. Before joining CENIT Energy, she worked with Fidelity Bank (Ghana) Limited as a Human Resource Officer and also a Direct Sales Administrator from November 2006 – February 2013. She also worked at AngloGold Ashanti (Gold House) with the Company Secretarial department between 2005 and 2006.
Albert Ayirebi-Acquah is a seasoned finance and energy expert with over 15 years of experience in the Power and FMCG sectors. Currently, as Commercial Manager at CENIT Energy Ltd, he oversees strategy, business development, project management, and contract management.
His previous roles at CENIT include Business Performance Manager and Financial Accountant, where he managed financial reporting and investor relations.
Albert’s career began at Unilever Ghana Ltd as a Management Trainee, in internal audit, risk management, and finance business partnering. He holds a Fellowship with the ACCA, a BSc in Physics from KNUST, and certifications in Financial Modelling and Valuation (FMVA) and Commercial Banking and Credit Analysis (CBCA). His strategic leadership and expertise in corporate finance and strategy make him a vital asset in senior management roles.
