Welcome to CENIT Energy Ltd (CEL), the first wholly Ghanaian owned and operated Independent Power producer
CENIT Energy Ltd is a first of its kind in the power and energy sector in Ghana in that we are in the business of power generation for Ghanaians, by Ghanaians.
CEL’s mission is to be a partner in the generation and supply of quality and reliable power across Ghana and beyond and we believe that we are well our way to achieving this goal with our unique blend of local content capability building together with excellence and integrity.
We aim at relentlessly pursuing opportunities, capitalizing on synergies in the power and energy value chain and expanding our presence in related businesses of interest and seek to constantly improve upon our services with passion and drive.
Having successfully completed our maiden project, the 126MW Tema CENIT Thermal Power Plant, we are now looking ahead to our future projects key among which is the expansion and conversion of our 126MW simple cycle thermal plant to combined cycle operation together with the Volta River Authority (VRA).
We firmly believe that the supply of quality and reliable power is the pathway to sustained economic growth for the country, and welcome the opportunity to play our part to help achieve the nation’s development goals.
