Management

Mrs. Eunice Biritwum 

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CENIT Energy Limited and Ag. Chief Executive Officer of CENIT Investment Ltd and CENIT Services Ltd. From 2007 until she joined CENIT Energy Limited in October 2011, Mrs. Biritwum worked as the Head of Infrastructure Services for GECAD. While at GECAD, Mrs. Biritwum also held the role of Project Director for the Tema Osonor Plant Limited (TOPL), an independent power plant project, where she provided strategic leadership and coordinated the raising of funds for the US$130m project from the local and international finance community.

Before joining GECAD, Mrs. Biritwum spent over ten years in the utility industry in the United States in various roles in planning and operations, and was instrumental in the setting up of the power marketing arm of Northern States Power Company (NSP) in Minnesota as well as creating the resultant organizational structure in the merger of NSP and New Century Energies in Colorado. Mrs. Biritwum subsequently worked as a global marketing manager for Cummins Power Generation &Energy Solutions Business where she focused on new product development and growing the Generator Set sales business to both the utility and the heavy industrial business sectors worldwide.

Mrs. Biritwum holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, and an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas, both in the USA, as well as various professional certifications.

 

Mr. Victor Onoja

Technical Director for CENIT Energy Limited. Mr. Onoja is an experienced engineer in power plant construction and management, having worked as a Project Manager for GTG Energy limited, the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company that built Tema 126MW power plant, and as the Project Coordinator for Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCO III), the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company that built Olorunsogo 750 MW Combine Cycle Power Plant in Ogun State Nigeria.

Mr. Onoja has also worked as a consultant for the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) in Nigeria. The project was geared towards the provision of sustainable energy for Nigeria and other West African countries. Mr. Onoja was a consultant for NPG Consortium in their bid for Afam and Ughelli power plants as part of the privatization process of all government owned power plants in Nigeria.

Mr. Victor Onoja holds a B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Degree in addition to many professional certifications.


Ms. Benedicta Tagoe

Financial Controller for CENIT Energy Limited. Ms Benedicta Tagoe is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, (ICA - Ghana) and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Ghana & Florida). She has an Executive Masters in Business Administration, Finance option from the University of Ghana Business School UGMS) and a
Post-graduate diploma from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), Netherlands. She is a product of Accra Polytechnic, HND (Accounting option).
 

She has over fifteen (15) years of work experience in Manufacturing and Trading Industries and Public sector with seven years in Internal Auditing.  

Before joining CENIT Energy, she worked with Finatrade Ltd, Air Liquide Ghana Ltd, Interplast Ltd., Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands (OASL) and Ministry of Finance.
